One Year After Groundbreaking – Expansion Almost 50% Complete

On Friday, December 16, the Honourable Michael Chan, Minister of Tourism and Culture and MPP for Markham-Unionville, Dr. Helena Jaczek, MPP for Oak Ridges-Markham, Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Whitchurch-Stouffville Mayor Wayne Emmerson joined community leaders and Markham Stouffville Hospital and Foundation Board members, staff, physicians and volunteers to celebrate the one year anniversary of groundbreaking for the hospital’s expansion.

MSH Receives Silver Award at Quality Health Care Workplace Awards

Markham Stouffville Hospital recently received a Silver Award in the 2011 Quality Healthcare Workplace Awards. This is an initiative of the Ontario Hospital Association and HealthForce Ontario. The award recognizes the hospital’s efforts to provide a healthy, quality workplace for our staff, volunteers, and physicians.
