Minister Michael Chan Celebrates Nursing Week

Minister Michael Chan celebrates National Nursing Week with Markham Stouffville Hospital nurses.

On Friday, May 14th, Minister Michael Chan, MPP Markham-Unionville visited Markham Stouffville Hospital to help celebrate National Nursing Week. From May 10th to 16th, staff, physicians and community members recognize the important contributions nurses make to the hospital and the health of the community.

During his visit, Minister Chan met with several of the hospital’s dedicated nurses and thanked them for their continued commitment to providing quality health care. “Thank you so much for your good work and keep doing it,” Minister Chan said.

Throughout the week, events are held to recognize the many achievements of Markham Stouffville Hospital’s nurses and their integral role in caring for the community.
