In partnership with The Arthritis Society, Markham Stouffville Hospital’s Outpatient Rehab Services Department provides assessment and treatment for arthritic patients.

Our aim is to make sure your care is appropriate to your unique needs. We combine community initiatives with individual and/or group sessions to offer the most advanced and appropriate approach for you in the management, treatment and care of arthritis.

For those with rheumatologic/arthritis conditions, we offer a Rheumatology Program in conjunction with The Arthritis Society. In addition to individual consultation, this innovative community partnership allows us to offer you the following two programs:

Osteoarthritis (OA) Spine Series: Two 3-hour sessions, running one week apart, educate and empower a self-management approach to caring for the spine.

General Osteoarthritis (OA) Series: A six-week education and exercise series promotes a self-management approach to general OA conditions.
