Laboratory Services

The laboratory at Markham Stouffville Hospital only provides services to patients actively receiving treatment at the hospital, including the following:

Clinic patients included in this list do not need appointments and will be served on a first come, first served basis. Markham site hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Community members who are not actively receiving treatment at the hospital, with requisitions from their physician’s offices or other health-care institutions, can visit one of our community’s lab service providers listed below. Community laboratory services are funded by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) and, with the exception of tests not covered by OHIP, you will not incur additional costs for testing at these labs.
