Medical Day Unit

After assessment by your doctor or our one of specialists, the Medical day clinic staff will provide you the needed support, care and education ahead of the specific diagnostic tests you may require such as biopsy, or needed treatments such as a thoracentesis. 

 

Blood transfusions and specific treatments are also given in the clinic on an outpatient basis.  Qualified staff will monitor your progress and provide you with instructions to follow when returning home.  We will assist you in understanding the care you need.
